ffiXXed exhibition at Triple-Major

We just had out store opening! The turnout was really great! As part of the opening events, we invited Australian art and design collaborative, ffiXXed to show a series of new works in sculptures, painting and clothing.
ffiXXed's new works including this sculpture of a shopping bag with hands, like a monument of consumerism.
Kotatsu with sleeves, which four people can hang out and be warm!
you can enjoy a cup of tea in the kotatsu too

Mundi's new film Rabbit Hole

"Fashion films come to life when a lost photographer realises his new canon 5D Mark II has a video option, so instead of taking photos he makes a terrible video of skinny models jumping around in slow-motion!"

"If you focus too much on the fashion, the main subject falls apart. I only look at fashion in terms of extreme costumes that help to create the characters." Mundi

Triple-Major Store Beijing, Now Open!

After months of preparation, Triple-Major store is finally opened!
Have a similar feeling as the Project White T-Shirt website just launched, like giving birth to a big fat kid.
Anyway, here are some pictures and descriptions:

Seeing the unique and avant-garde designs as antidotes to mainstream fashion's erosion of individuality, the store is disguised as a traditional Chinese clinic.

We looked for elements of traditional Chinese clinics such as acupuncture statue and apothecary chests in countrysides around Beijing to meet the disguise.

The second floor will be dedicated to exhibitions and installation, with an upcoming exhibition with ffiXXed, which opens on 10/29 from 8-10pm
the roof top is my favorite part of the store. Have some coffee here with some friends and watching the sun set in between the historic drum and bell tower really make the day.
the roof top also turns into exhibition or event area, like the flea market that we organize regularly.
If you happen to be in Beijing, please visit us at 81 Baochao Hutong, Dongcheng District.
But for now you can shop online on our facebook page!!

buckles are fun

I am really into functional and utilitarian clothes with a twist. Draw strings, buttons and buckles are my things. Recently I found this label from Switzerland, with very interesting use of utilitarian elements, especially buckles...
